Pabst Brewery's American Pale Ale

Writer's picture: JoshJosh

Happy Independence Day! I'm featuring Pabst Brewing Company's American Pale Ale today in honor of the 4th of July! Although not Craft, Pabst is still American, and we Americans love to celebrate our freedom with beer.

Honestly, I was surprised by this beer. Though not one of my favorite pale ales, it was definitely more flavorful than I expected. Golden in color with prominent aromas of hops and slight citrus, this beer featured a unique maltiness, manifesting in tones of baked bread, light caramel, and subtle hints of toffee. The hops were mainly bittering, again featuring subtle hints of citrus.

This was not a bad brew by Pabst-definitely a good attempt by the Blue Ribbon Crew! Cheers and Happy Independence Day! #IndependenceDay #PabstBrewingCompany #BeerReview #America #FindYourCraft
