Our feature of Cleveland's Masthead Brewing Company continues with an INCREDIBLE, double dry-hopped NEIPA, the Two Trick Pony.
A couple of days back, we took a look at Mosaic Vice. I loved that beer, but I loved this beer even more. The variety of hops used in this brew was truly a treat. You could actually taste the variety throughout the sip. Cheers to the brewer(s) at Masthead on that!
Hazy golden in color with aromas of floral, citrus, and light tropical fruit notes, this beer was absolutely inviting. The plethora of aromas was really a testament to the variety of hops used in the brew too. The base malt and adjuncts served as a solid platform for the beer, serving up some amazing flavors of lemon, grapefruit, citrus rind, grapefruit, mango, papaya, an melon--cantaloupe, and honeydew.
I loved the bitterness that surfaced mid-taste too as it continued to invite more sips. As this beer moved about the palate, I was amazed at the variety of flavors which surfaced throughout the taste. It was incredibly well done.
Cheers to Masthead on another amazing brew! #BeerReview #MastheadBrewing #NEIPA #IPA #FindYourCraft
