Green Man Brewery's Green Man IPA

Writer's picture: JoshJosh

Updated: May 1, 2018

Green Man IPA from Asheville's Green Man Brewery was a solid IPA. Coming in at 63 IBUs and 6.2% ABV, this beer was not as hop-forward as the West Coast Style IPAs, yet not as malt-forward as the East Coast Styles.

The brew poured a deep golden color with a strong white head. Aromas of sweet malt and fresh hops set up the taste. On the palate, that malty sweetness was there again, coupled with some amazing grassy and floral hoppy notes. I also noticed a noticeable resiny-ness on the palate, post-taste as well.

Cheers to a solid brew from Green Man!
