Bell's Brewery Oatsmobile Pale Ale

Bell's Oatsmobile--or the 'Horse Beer' as my daughter calls it because of the can--provides an interesting twist on the pale ale. As simple as it sounds, it's what could could expect from a pale ale with the addition of oats.

The beer boasts a solid maltiness, reminiscent of toasted bread, combined with a notable hoppiness. I would say this was of the floral or spicy variety. The addition of oats softened the mouthfeel, adding a unique element to this brew.
